My name's Amy, and I love to bake - personal, home-made cakes that bring a little extra bit of joy to your occasion.

I make all my cakes from scratch using real butter and free range eggs so that they taste as good as they look!

Q & A

What types of cakes do you bake?

I have my tried and true flavours that I love, including hummingbird, salted chocolate caramel, carrot and walnut, spiced apple, red velvet, banana, and lemon. Or, if you have your own favourite, by all means let me know!

I also bake cupcakes and mini-cupcakes - there are some specialty flavours that are only available in cupcake form! Please ask me for more details.

Cupcakes are $4 each, with a minimum 2 dozen order. Miniature cupcakes are $2 each, with a minimum 3 dozen order.

Can I taste the flavours?

For your wedding, we can have a tasting together of up to three flavours. Tastings are $30, which then acts as part of your deposit. Please get in touch to book a date for tastings, as everything is made to order.

How much do they cost?

Single tiered cakes start from $120. Every cake is made to order, and will vary depending on size, flavour , fillings and frostings that you are after, so I'm happy to provide a quote for your individual requirements.

How many servings will my cake make?

If you let me know how many servings you need, I'll design your cake(s) around that number. Some people like to have a beautiful cutting cake for their reception, and simpler serving cakes for their guests to enjoy. You can always take your cutting cake along to a brunch or party the next day!

You may wish to serve your cake as dessert, or with coffee and tea later in the evening. Coffee servings are smaller than dessert servings: it's a nice, easy way to get more from your cakes.

What about stands, decorations, toppers?

I have a variety of stands for you to hire, starting from $30, plus a $50 deposit which is refunded on return. Stands need to be returned within a week of your event, so they're available for other bookings.

I can make bunting, flags, and other decorations, which are generally included in the cake price. I can also decorate with succulents and small flowers and greenery, but for weddings and other big events, I would most often coordinate with your florist.

How far in advance do I need to book?

Because Crumbs is just me and my oven, the number of bookings I can take is limited - so, do book as early as you can! That said, do give me a call, regardless of the date of your event - if I can squeeze you in, I will!

How does payment work?

A non-refundable, 50% deposit is due when you book (less the price of a tasting, if you've had one), with the balance due 2 weeks before your event.

Payment via bank transfer is preferred, or you can pay in cash. Please let me know if you need to pay via another method.

What about allergies?

Most of my recipes do include eggs, dairy, gluten and nuts. Because I bake in my home kitchen where I use these ingredients, I can't guarantee my cakes don't have allergens present even if your particular cake recipe doesn't include them.

Can you deliver? Can I pick up myself?

Delivery is available, starting from $25, and depending on distance. You're welcome to pick your cake up from my home in Tanunda.

Some cakes, like multi-tiered layer cakes, do need to be assembled on site - in this case, we can arrange delivery and set up as part of your quote.

What about other events?

Crumbs cakes are available for other events: Hen's days, bridal showers, engagements, etc.
